About Me

Hello and welcome. My name is Paul and I am a software developer dedicated to creating responsive websites for my customers, so they can reach their online marketing goals anywhere via Mobile Phone, Tablet, Laptop or your home computer.
Based in Co. Offaly I am a home-based software developer with many years of experience in the web development industry. I strive to bring you a cost-efficient high-quality professional service.

Currently I am in Athlone Institute of Technology studying a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development Mobile Apps and Connected Devices.

The main modules in this course are:

• Mobile Apps and Connected Devices.
• Web Development.
• Software Development.

This course is mainly about connecting devices to the Internet, this is known as the IoT (Internet of Things). Apps on your phone and Sensors in your home will enable you to control your world. Late home from work? your phone will turn on the heating and lights, if you had it connected to your fridge it can tell you what your running low on and if you need to buy anything in the shop; like milk, butter etc. When you arrive home, your phone would automatically unlock your door and turn off your security alarm. No wonder I enrolled on this course, how easy would my life be then.  In fact I’m already using this technology in my home via Google Home.

I am involved with my GAA Club as assistant PRO my duties include updating our website and updating live scores during matches.
I am also a member of the Offaly/Laois Leader Forum for people with disabilities. we come together once a month to discuss how we can improve our Community and make it more accessible for individuals who have different kind of Disabilities.
